Chairman's Message: March 2019
The Surry County Republican Party Annual Convention was held on Saturday, March 9.
We had an excellent crowd with 151 Delegates and dozens of Guests in attendance. Our Convention was larger than those held in many Counties five times our size, and this is a testament to the passion of Surry County Republicans.
I would like to thank everyone who helped organized the Convention and especially thank our Credentials Committee (Kim Wilson, Angie Moser, Wanda Stanley, and Curtis Workman). Also, appreciation goes out to everyone who assisted with set-up and take down and to the Pilot Mountain VFW for presenting the Colors.
I am honored to have been re-elected as Chairman and very excited about our incoming group of Officers and Executive Committee Members. I have listed those members below. Please join me in thanking them for their Commitment to serve for the next two years.
The upcoming 2020 Election is sure to be a challenge. Our Party will attempt to raise the necessary money and develop the needed organizational capabilities to effectively work to elect a clean sweep of Republicans once again just like we did in 2018. Please look for Facebook and E-mail announcements about upcoming events and join us. We need volunteers to help us fight the tide of Socialism trying to sweep America.
