Public Notice of Annual 2021 Precinct Meetings

PLEASE NOTE: This page is to notify the public of the Surry County Republican Party's precinct meetings. This page will be updated as those meetings are announced. 

Elkin Precinct   (posted 2/3/2021, updated 2/18/2021, updated 3/5/2021)

In accordance with Article II.D.1. of the State Plan of Organization of the Republican Party of North Carolina, ten (10) members of the general Precinct Membership call for a meeting of the Elkin Precinct on Wednesday, March 10, 2021, 6:30pm at The Liberty 222 E Main Street, Elkin, NC.

The meeting is being called to clear up the irregular vote count from the March 1, 2021 meeting and to confirm/elect the Elkin slate of Delegates and Alternate Delegates to the March 27, 2021 Surry County GOP Convention. There were more votes cast for Precinct Chair than there were eligible Precinct members present. 

The February 18th meeting has been postponed due to weather. The rescheduled meeting will occur Monday, March 1, 2021 at 6:30 PM. The location has been changed to the Brenco Building, 1919 N. Bridge Street, Elkin, NC 28621.

The purpose of the meeting is to elect Precinct Officers to serve from March 2021 through March 2023 and to elect Delegates and Alternate Delegates to attend the March 27, 2021 Surry County Republican Party Convention.

When: Thursday, February 18 at 6:30 P.M.

Mount Airy 2 Precinct   (posted 2/5/2021)

The purpose of the meeting is to elect Precinct Officers to serve from March 2021 through March 2023 and to elect Delegates and Alternate Delegates to attend the March 27, 2021 Surry County Republican Party Convention.

The purpose of the meeting is to elect Precinct Officers to serve from March 2021 through March 2023 and to elect Delegates and Alternate Delegates to attend the March 27, 2021 Surry County Republican Party Convention.

The North Westfield Precinct meeting has been rescheduled to Tuesday, March 9 at 6 pm at 1060 South Main Street, Mount Airy, NC 27030. 

The purpose of the meeting is to elect Precinct Officers to serve from March 2021 through March 2023 and to elect Delegates and Alternate Delegates to attend the March 27, 2021 Surry County Republican Party Convention.
